DOT 3 and DOT 4 are the most common types, but they have key differences:
Dry boiling point: Approx. 205°C (DOT 3), Approx. 230°C (DOT 4)
Wet boiling point: Approx. 140°C (DOT 3), Approx. 155°C (DOT 4)
Moisture absorption: Faster (DOT 3), Slower (DOT 4)
Composition: Glycol-based (DOT 3), Glycol-based with additives (DOT 4)

USES
HOW TO USE
Clean all dirt from around cover on master cylinder before removing.
Fill unit to level specified by manufacturer.
Replace cover. Check fluid level once a month.
DIRECTIONS
Refer to service manual. Do not reuse brake fluid from bleeding operation.
To bleed system, refer to service manual.
Never clean cylinders or brake components with gasoline, kerosene, or oil. Avoid spilling brake fluid on brake linings or vehicle paint, as it may cause damage.
